TRAIN OF THOUGHT...

ABOUT ME...

Queer coded (2).png

So here I am, in my mid-30s, sipping lukewarm coffee (because life’s too busy to drink it hot) and finally trusting my own voice. Writing has always been my way of processing, healing, and connecting, and now I’m taking the leap to start my journey as a queer author—equal parts terrifying and exhilarating.

Queerly Yours, Daniel is a celebration of all things queer—culture, representation and the stories that make us feel seen. From the unapologetic brilliance of It’s a Sin to the heartbreak and hope of Heartstopper, queer media has been a lifeline. And now, I want to add my voice to the mix, one awkward first draft at a time.

But this isn’t just about me or my writing. I want this space to be a haven for creativity and community. A place where we can share the books, films and art that move us, and champion the stories that reflect who we are. Whether you’re here to find inspiration, discover your next queer read, or simply connect, this is a space for all of us to feel seen and celebrated.

If you believe in the power of storytelling and representation or just want to chat about why queer characters deserve better endings I welcome you.

Let’s create something beautiful together.

Queerly Yours,
Daniel

MY BOOKOF THE MONTH...

Book cover of In Memoriam by Alice Winn, this months Book of the Month by Queerly Yours, Daniel

Why You Should Read In Memoriam by Alice Winn

If you’re looking for a book that will break your heart and stitch it back together, In Memoriam by Alice Winn is exactly what you need. Set during World War I, this stunning novel captures the story of two young men navigating the unimaginable horrors of war while discovering the beauty and complexity of forbidden love.

The writing is powerful, the characters feel like old friends (the kind you can’t stop thinking about), and the story stays with you long after you’ve turned the last page. It’s a raw, emotional journey that will make you cry, but also remind you of the resilience of love and the human spirit.

Why buy it? Because it’s not just a book—it’s an experience. If you love historical fiction or LGBTQ+ narratives that feel deeply authentic, In Memoriam deserves a spot on your shelf. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
